Comedic Theatre is a traditional art form and enjoys much popularity among Shanghainese. The League of Contemporary Arts will bring excellent actors from Shanghai Comedy Troup and Shanghai People’s Comedy Troup to create original comedic theatre with an edge. Blending traditional singing-speaking technique with creative performing elements, the comedy will close in on present “buzz” issues, embraces concerns of the modern people, bringing laughter and fantasy to the audience.
